Lucia Frangione is currently at VFS on full scholarship immersing herself in film and television writing. She is an award-winning internationally produced playwright and actor living Vancouver, BC, with her firefighter husband, Scott, and their two children. She’s had thirty plays professionally produced and has performed on many of the major stages across Canada. She’s performed in a smattering of film and TV and stars in the video game, New Tales from the Borderlands. Lucia is published with Talon books and is a proud member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, CAEA and UBCP/ACTRA. Her debut novel, Grazie, is a BC bestseller. She has trained at Studio 58 and Rosebud School of the Arts and is the recipient of the Jessie Richardson Outstanding Actor in a lead role award, the Gordon Armstrong playwright Award, the Sydney Riske playwright Award and the Stage West CAEA emerging artist award.
